2010 council elections

Nomination forms will be available in the lounge. All positions are open and everybody is encouraged to get involved. If you have any questions about the positions check out our website or talk to a current RESS council member.

Call for Nominations
Due to complications with voting the RESS elections will be move its elections to March 17th and 18th.
Nominations are once again open for all positions.

FYC election/ By-election September 24th

First Year Council (FYC) elections and a by-election for Charity Director will take place Thursday September 24th.

Charity Director is in charge of running Pie in the Eye during engineering week in March
Votes for Charity Director can be cast on Thursday September 24th, in the engineering lounge (ED 127).

FYC Chair shall be responsible for FYC, and notify the RESS of first year concerns
FYC Events shall organize event for the First Year
FYC Communications shall help with RESS charity events, along with notify the first year class about RESS and FYC events
FYC election will take place in the Ed auditorium during ENGG 123 at 3:35

If you have any questions or would like to run for a position stop by the lounge. Nominations forms are available for all
As a reminder all nomination forms are due by Tuesday at 5:00

Call for Council Nominations

Elections are coming up and the RESS is calling for nominations for council positions.

Those who are interested in running should print a form off the website under “Policy & Forms” and have 10 of your fellow undergraduate engineering students endorse you by signing your paper. Forms are to be returned to the office in the lounge in ED127 by Monday, March 15.

Please note that if you sign someone’s nomination form, you cannot sign another form for the same position. You may sign a maximum of ONE form per position.

As I have been informed that many did not receive the e-mail I sent out previously regarding the election, we have pushed the deadline for nomination forms back to Friday, October 3, 2008. Election day will take place the Friday after on October 10.

Call for Nominations

Just to let any interested students know, the RESS election will be held on Thursday April 10 on the 4th floor of the Education building (outside the Engg. office).

With that being said, anyone interested in running for any position can fill out a nomination form. You can download a nomination form the Policy & Forms tab at the top or from the RESS lounge.

NOMINATIONS MUST BE SUBMITTED BY THURSDAY APRIL 3 at 5PM.
